Ian has had a career  in Research Entomology and ran the Entomology Department at the John Innes Centre in Norwich up to his recent retirement after 42 yrs. He regularly holds ‘Plant Pest Clinics’ talks on radio shows and has appeared on the BBC’s Gardeners Question Time and other TV shows.
